For thousands of years, cultures around the world have created, worn, danced, revered, and enjoyed masks. During this tour, participants look at masks and think about their place in society. This tour is also available as Masks of Asia, which focuses solely on masks used in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania.

What is a world cultures museum? From statues to armor, mummies to masks, we exhibit artifacts that illustrate the shared challenges of humanity and celebrate the diverse ways cultures respond to them.
